KINGSTON PARK

Public BBQ

A recently redeveloped park at Ocean Grove that has been done properly. The playground covers a wide age range up to about the end of primary school, with a huge slide, smaller ones, and a little running track circling the equipment that children take to immediately. A nature walk runs behind the playground, there are ovals for kicking a ball and a good-sized grass patch for sport, with barbecue and toilet facilities nearby. Big surrounding trees provide shade, though there could be more directly over the equipment. Bring mosquito repellent. Note that the phone number listed online for accommodation bookings is wrong and reaches a private individual.
